Pricing FAQ
- What counts as a clinical seat?
- Any user account with the Dentist or Sedation Provider role. Assistants and front-desk staff don't count against the seat limit -- you can add as many of those as your team needs at no extra cost.
- What if I have more than 3 sedation providers?
- Each additional provider beyond the 3 included is $50/month. So a 4-provider practice is $99 + $50 = $149/month. A 5-provider practice is $99 + $100 = $199/month. Pro-rated when you add or remove a provider mid-month.
- Is the 30-day trial really free?
- Yes. No credit card required to start. We'll email you a reminder 7 days before your trial ends; if you don't add a payment method, the trial just ends and your data stays available for 90 days in case you come back.
- Do I need to install anything to capture vitals?
- No. SedationLog reads a Mindray ePM 10M directly from Chrome over USB -- nothing to install, no bridge software, no drivers. If you don't have a compatible monitor (or you just prefer to chart manually) you can record vitals by hand from the web app. The flagging engine and signed-PDF flow are the same either way. A desktop Bridge service is still available for niche headless or multi-operatory setups that need it.
- Is my data really HIPAA-compliant?
- Yes. SedationLog runs entirely on AWS under a single Business Associate Agreement that covers RDS, S3, ECS, and the rest of our infrastructure. We sign a BAA with every customer practice as part of onboarding. PHI is encrypted at rest and in transit; audit logs are retained for 6 years.
- What happens if I cancel?
- Your account moves to read-only at the end of your paid period. You keep full access to download every signed PDF and audit trail for 30 days after cancellation. We retain the records (under the 7-year object-lock policy) but you can stop paying for the active subscription.
